Keep Your Hummingbird Feeder Clean

Regularly clean your feeder with a solution of hot water and white vinegar. Scrub thoroughly to remove mold and residue buildup.

Refill with Fresh Nectar

Change the nectar every 2-3 days, especially in hot weather to prevent fermentation and mold growth. Use a solution of 4 parts water to 1 part sugar.

Place Feeder in Shade

Position your feeder in a shaded area to prevent the nectar from spoiling quickly in the sun. Hummingbirds prefer cool, shaded feeding spots.
